Where would we be without God’s love? His love is what maintains us from being consumed by the fires of hell. It is what took Jesus to the cross. We are saved, not because of what we have or haven’t done but by the grace and mercy of God. Both of which would not be if not for God’s love. And if we love it is because He first loved us ( 1 John 4:19). God’s love is inevitable, it doesn’t change who God is, but it changes us.
